Guards Sporting Activities

In keeping with the ongoing program of developing moral and team spirit in the General Directorate of Guards the Director General recently launched a cricket team for  the General Directorate of the guards, in line with the vision of directorate to develop the sporting  level for all the employees,

The Team consists of players selected from all the sections within the directorate , with cricketing specialisms including some well-known stars of the Bahrain cricketing scene.

Commenting on the outlook of the cricket team Brigadier Khalid Al – Wazzan said  “In striving to acheive excellence in everything we do for the directorate I will provide complete support to  this team for developing their level in order to achieve best of results by supervising the tournaments in which the team participates."

Keeping up the sporting theme the General Directorate of Guards is currently preparing a representative hockey team to take part in competitions within Police and other tournaments and championships held in the Kingdom.
