Director General's Message

I am happy to present the website of the General Directorate of Guards and to welcome our many partner agencies, user organizations and the general public. The launch of this website is another step in the modernization and development of the services provided by the General Directorate as we move forward into the globally emerging digital age.

In keeping with the overall strategic approach of the Ministry of Interior The General Directorate of Guards is keen to embrace excellence and efficiency and looks forward to achieving an ever higher standard of service.

In the General Directorate of Guards we provide a wide range of security services to Government departments, critical national infrastructure, economic facilities, embassies, diplomatic residences and international  organizations. Additionally we also  provide training, licencing and human resources support to the private security industry. 

In the General Directorate of Guards we strive to remain constantly up to date with the latest technology in order to provide the highest standard of security protection and awareness to the public and the agencies we protect. We aim to reach out to the community, our users, and national institutions by embracing electronic and digital systems  and to create safe and secure channels of two way communication.
